Shannon Street

Exercise Physiologist

AEP, AES, ESSAM

Shannon is an Accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologist with a background in Exercise Science, Rehabilitation, and Business Psychology. Her lifelong connection to movement was shaped by a childhood spent between Perth and Syria, where sport, culture, and community played a central role in her understanding of health.

After years of navigating undiagnosed autoimmune symptoms and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, Shannon experienced firsthand how powerful movement can be—not just as a profession, but as a pathway to healing.

Working across Perth and regional WA over the last 5 years, she saw how many women were quietly managing similar challenges—often without adequate support, and with a disconnect between mind and body. This became the foundation for her work: to support women in reconnecting with their bodies and to feel strong, capable, and confident through intentional movement.

Shannon now works specifically with women, with a clinical focus on chronic conditions, injury rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning.

She is also the founder of The Women’s Workout Club, recently recognised as a Top 5 Finalist for WA’s Women’s Health Advocate of the Year and WA’s Fitness Community of the Year by the Health & Fitness Acknowledgement Awards. Through the club, she leads weekly exercise classes, educational workshops, and community events that celebrate movement, connection, and personal growth.

Our Community

The Women’s Workout Club started in March 2024, born from Shannon’s love for exercise and her vision to create a space where women could support one another and feel safe to build deeper connections—with themselves, with each other, and with their community.

Since then, the community has grown to over 500 women, with weekly classes, workshops, and events that bring movement, connection, and education together.
