Using movement as medicine to help women build strength, restore balance, and thrive through every chapter of life.

What is Exercise Physiology?
Exercise Physiology is the clinical application of movement to prevent, manage, and treat a wide range of health conditions. Each program is tailored to support your individual goals, health history, and stage of life—using evidence-based exercise as a tool for long-term health and wellbeing.

How Exercise Physiology can help you
Women have unique physiological, hormonal, and metabolic needs that evolve across every stage of life.
That’s why exercise isn’t just optional medicine – it’s the essential stimulus that keeps our metabolic, skeletal, and endocrine systems thriving for decades.
The Women's Exercise Clinic is for you if you are navigating:
• Chronic pain and fatigue
• Autoimmune conditions
• Hormonal imbalances
• PCOS and endometriosis
• Osteoporosis and osteopenia
• Menopause and perimenopause
• Prenatal care
• Musculoskeletal and sports injuries
• Pre- and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Anxiety, depression, and stress-related conditions
• Metabolic and cardiovascular conditions
• Athletic performance and strength training

How it Works
1.Initial Assessment
Your first session is focused on gaining a clear understanding of your goals, current capacity, and relevant health history. We'll discuss your medical, injury, and exercise background, identify any barriers you're facing, and define what success looks like for you.
A comprehensive functional movement assessment will follow, giving us a baseline to work from and highlighting any areas that may need specific attention. This in-depth approach gives us a strong foundation to design a treatment plan that’s aligned with your body, your goals, and your long-term wellbeing.

Ongoing Support
2. One-on-One Sessions
Our one-on-one sessions are your space to build confidence, strength, and a deeper understanding of your body. Together, we’ll work through your personalised exercise program, track your progress, and navigate any challenges that come up.
Along the way, we’ll integrate education around key areas such as nutrition, recovery, and mindset—giving you the tools to make informed decisions and support your health in a way that’s sustainable and long-lasting.
The final step
3.Beyond the Clinic
As your confidence and capacity grow, we’ll support you in taking the next steps—whether that’s gaining more independence or finding new ways to stay active and connected. Together, we’ll explore options that might include:
-
Transitioning into group classes or community-based programs for connection and motivation
-
Creating a personalised home or gym-based program that you can maintain independently
-
Scheduling regular check-ins (fortnightly or monthly) to help you stay on track and adjust as life evolves
You’ll leave with the tools, knowledge, and support to keep moving forward—confidently and sustainably.
