How it Works

1.Initial Assessment

Your first session is focused on gaining a clear understanding of your goals, current capacity, and relevant health history. We'll discuss your medical, injury, and exercise background, identify any barriers you're facing, and define what success looks like for you.

A comprehensive functional movement assessment will follow, giving us a baseline to work from and highlighting any areas that may need specific attention. This in-depth approach gives us a strong foundation to design a treatment plan that’s aligned with your body, your goals, and your long-term wellbeing.

2. One-on-One Sessions

Our one-on-one sessions are your space to build confidence, strength, and a deeper understanding of your body. Together, we’ll work through your personalised exercise program, track your progress, and navigate any challenges that come up.

Along the way, we’ll integrate education around key areas such as nutrition, recovery, and mindset—giving you the tools to make informed decisions and support your health in a way that’s sustainable and long-lasting.

The final step

3.Beyond the Clinic

As your confidence and capacity grow, we’ll support you in taking the next steps—whether that’s gaining more independence or finding new ways to stay active and connected.  Together, we’ll explore options that might include:

  • Transitioning into group classes or community-based programs for connection and motivation

  • Creating a personalised home or gym-based program that you can maintain independently

  • Scheduling regular check-ins (fortnightly or monthly) to help you stay on track and adjust as life evolves

You’ll leave with the tools, knowledge, and support to keep moving forward—confidently and sustainably.

"Four years ago, a knee replacement led me to Shannon’s program—and it changed my life. What started as rehab turned into a full lifestyle shift. At 59, I’m stronger than ever: I’ve tackled Cape walks, returned to surfing, learned to box, and even lift weights. My confidence, sleep, and bone density have all improved. Huge thanks to Shannon for helping me take control of my health and giving me my life back."
